Instructions on Cancellation

The following statutory cancellation information applies to consumers and to goods for which a right of cancellation exists. It does not limit your rights if goods are defective, damaged or not as described.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel an eligible contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. For an order delivered in separate consignments, the period begins when the last consignment or item is received.

Exception for rapidly perishable goods

Under section 312g(2)(2) of the German Civil Code and Article 16(d) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory right of cancellation does not apply to contracts for goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. For products sold by Purifirst, this exception can apply in particular to live plants, seedlings, fresh flowers, living moss and comparable fresh plant material where their nature or condition makes them rapidly perishable.

This exception does not affect your statutory rights where a product arrives defective, damaged or not as described. Our Healthy Arrival Promise is additional to those rights.

How to exercise the right

To exercise the right to cancel, send a clear statement of your decision before the cancellation period expires. You may contact:

You may use the model cancellation form below, but its use is not mandatory. A letter or email containing the necessary information is sufficient.

Effects of cancellation

If you validly cancel, we will reimburse payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional costs resulting from a more expensive delivery method selected by you are not reimbursed. Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your cancellation notice.

We use the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed. You will not incur a reimbursement fee. For goods that must be returned, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

You must send eligible goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of the cancellation. The deadline is met if the goods are sent before the 14-day period expires. You bear the direct cost of return unless we agree otherwise or the goods are being returned because they are defective, damaged or incorrect. You are responsible only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
